Colorado Springs, CO, September 26, 2011 – Adapta Medical, Inc., a Colorado Springs based developer and manufacturer of urinary catheterization systems, has announced today the filing of a number of additional provisional patent applications in the United States. This is part of its ongoing focus on “Improving the Catheter ExperienceTM”, especially for those who perform self- catheterization. The provisional patents, filed the week of September 18, 2011, further strengthen the company’s intellectual property portfolio, which includes issued and pending patents on both intermittent and indwelling catheters.
